Laundromat FAQ

Our Speed Queen washers and dryers are card-operated. You can purchase/load a Clean Folks laundry card at our VTMs or swipe your debit/credit card directly at the machine.

As a fully attended laundromat, we hold "lost and found" items for a limited time. Please visit the store or call us immediately to describe your item.

Yes! We have washers ranging from 20 lbs up to 80 lbs, which are perfect for King and Cal-King comforters.

We are open 6AM–9PM daily (last wash at 8PM). The facility is fully attended and monitored by a security system for your safety.

Wash and Fold Questions

We use professional, calibrated scales to weigh your laundry by the pound upon arrival at our Lomita facility.

There is a 10 lb. minimum. Next-day service is ready by 4PM; same-day service is available if dropped off by 9AM.

Yes. We can hang items for a small fee or follow specific manufacturer's washing instructions. We also provide free spot treatments.

While we treat every load with expert care, Clean Folks Laundry is not responsible for lost or damaged clothes or items left in pockets.

No we do not. 

Pickup and Delivery Questions

We serve Lomita, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Carson, and Redondo Beach. All pickup and delivery orders require a $45 minimum.

We are not responsible for orders once they have been delivered to your specified drop-off location. Please choose a secure spot for delivery.

Yes, the cost is bundled into the per-pound price. Weekly service is our most affordable rate at $2.50/lb.

Pickups are Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM. Deliveries are Monday–Saturday. No service is available on Sundays.

Easy! Just click on the Schedule a Pickup button and follow the instructions. 

No, just let us know in your notes where our driver can find your laundry and where to leave it--ideally hidden or safe locations out of sight of street view.

When placing your order online, you'll find a section labeled 'Preferences' where you can list the tasks you'd like us to perform with every laundry service. Additionally, there's a 'Special Laundry Instructions' section for requests specific to the current order, such as spot treating a stain on an item.

No, you don't. You can cancel at any time. 

When you place your order, we will ask for your credit card information. Your card will not be charged until your order is complete. 

We recommend putting your laundry in a laundry bag or a trash bag that cinches closed. 

You can suspend your account until you return from your vacation. Just log into your account and put your service on hold until you return. 

Commercial Service FAQs

Yes! Commercial accounts with high volumes (linens, towels, uniforms) qualify for volume-based pricing often lower than residential rates.

We offer flexible invoicing and billing cycles tailored to your business needs, rather than requiring payment at the time of service.

Absolutely. We can create custom wash and fold profiles and specific pickup schedules to match your business workflow.

For safety reasons, we cannot accept any items contaminated with biohazardous materials or flammable substances.
